The blade can be changed without the need for tools, the tool less blade clamp is brilliant for quick and easy changes on the job. For versatile function this Makita jigsaw has a speed control dial which gives the user complete control over the speed of this power tool. The Soft No Load function works to reduce the motor speed automatically when idling to suppress vibrations issuing from the body of the machine. The blower function is included to clear wood residue and dust and prevent it from obscuring the cutting line. The Twin LED job light also aids in visibility in this way.

Tool less blade clamp: For this Makita jigsaw blade no tools are needed to clamp the blade into the tool, it is secured to the shaft assembly. To use this blade clamp, just press up on the black lever insert the blade and it is locked in the clamp. Simply turn to remove the blade.
